Klutch didn’t just want to build another recruiting agency — they wanted to create a movement. Having seen firsthand how former athletes struggle to translate their competitive mindset into corporate roles, they built Klutch MFM as a place where drive meets direction.
Their vision was simple: give people the tools, training, and opportunities to succeed beyond sports — and help companies grow by hiring individuals with a championship-level mentality.
Today, Klutch MFM works with top-tier organizations nationwide, helping connect talented individuals to entry level sales and customer success roles.
Klutch's Director of Recruiting (Greg Schaum), an experienced sports leader and former President of Excelsior Sports, has expanded Klutch's reach and strengthened its mission to support competitive individuals transitioning from sports to the business world.

Our History
Klutch MFM was created to address a clear opportunity: companies struggle to find driven, high-performing talent. At the same time, former athletes and other competitive individuals are seeking meaningful careers that aligned with their strengths.
Seeing this gap between potential and opportunity, Ryan and Kyle Ilges, founded Klutch MFM. Leveraging their experience at MFM Partners and Worldwide Express (WWEX) — fast-paced logistics companies known for developing top-performing sales talent. This experience delivered first-hand knowledge of what it takes to build, manage, and lead successful sales teams.
While at WWEX, Ryan played a pivotal role in building and running the full truckload sales team. Thanks to Tony — the in-house trainer for the division — developing and coaching talent to peak performance, the truckload division grew from 0 to 100 million in 3 years. Upon Klutch MFM launching, Tony joined as a founding member running the training side of the brand.
